The Story Behind our Name:

Our name honors a long-forgotten Arkansas story. In 1820, the Arkansas territorial legislature voted to move the capital to the growing river town of Cadron. But during recess, St. Louis land speculators made a persuasive case for relocating it down-river to the undeveloped area around the "Little Rock" instead, where they'd quietly bought land. When the vote came, Little Rock won by a vote of 6 to 3. Cadron faded into history.

That story reminds us that good ideas, like moving the capital to Cadron, still need good advocates.
